Today, I met with longtime Englewood resident Brenda Thomas and we had a fascinating discussion about the history of Englewood’s 4th ward and her grandfather Rev. Harris, cofounder of the Englewood Urban League and Pastor of the Bethany Presbyterian Church. I also brought along my scanner and began to digitize her incredible archives of newspaper clippings, postcards, pamphlets, brochures, and photographs. Thank you Brenda Thomas.
