Description

Adalberto Barroso-Bernier was the first Latinx doctor on staff at the Englewood Hospital. He was also the first Colombian-born resident of Englewood. He graduated from Cornell Medical School in 1931. He was a surgeon and a urologist. He lived in Englewood between 1933 to 1939. On February 4, 1933, he married Englewood native Beatrice Agnes Berge. He had a daughter and four sons, Mrs. John S. Schunrer, Major William Edward, Francis A., and Lieutenant George B. Kenneth J.
