Miller, I. Robert (1922?-2009)

Description

Robert I. Miller was a Presbyterian minister and the mayor of Englewood in 1967. He was the first democratic mayor with a democratic council majority. Miller was in the Army during World War II. He graduated from the University of Buffalo with a degree in sociology and anthropology. He received a bachelor of divinity from the Union Theological Seminary and was ordained in 1951. He served the First Presbyterian Church in Englewood. He was married for sixty-three years. He had two daughters and a son, Deborah Larkin, Cynthia, and Eric.
