Englewood Makes History is committed to recovering the unexplored histories of the city's African American and immigrant communities. EMH believes that honest, authentic, and good faith engagement with the city's
inspiring yet often conflicted past will help promote justice, democracy, and unity among its citizens. By bringing the entire community together to help tell this history, the city's residents can begin to heal past historical trauma and build a bright future.
