    William Outis Allison was a banker and philanthropist. He acted as vice president of the Palisades Trust and Guaranty Company of Englewood, president of the National Reserve Bank of New York, president of the publishing company that owned Oil, Pain and Drug Reporter, Druggist's Circular, and Painters Magazine, and a director of Lincoln Trust Company. He lived in Englewood Cliffs and developed the W. O. Allison Real Estate Company. He was a member of the Bergen County Historical Society, helped create the Palisades Interstate Park, and donated land that would eventually become Flat Rock Brook Nature Center upon his death. He married Caroline Longstreet Hovey in 1884. After her death, he married Caroline Amelia Shaw in 1897.  He had five children, Katharine Floyd Allison MacLean, Frances Cornelia, Allis, William Dana, and Van Kleeck.

    Penny Colman is an author and Civic Leader. She graduated from the University of Michigan and gained a Master of Arts in teaching from Johns Hopkins University. She is an award-winning author of numerous biographies and social histories. She was also a leader of the Parent-Teacher Organization during the 1982 Englewood Teachers' Strike, the executive director of the Center for Food Action, and a member of the Englewood Board of Education. She married Robert "Bob" Colman. She had three children, Jonathan, David, and Stephen.

    Eleanor Harvey was an Englewood resident and a founder of the Englewood Historical Society. She was a teacher for 43 years and taught social studies at Diwght Morrow High School. Some of her projects included the placement of the cast-iron clock in front of City Hall, the revitalization of Liberty Square, the creation of the Memorial Day Parade, and a planting program.

    Foster Rhea Dulles was an educator, historian, and author. He was born in Englewood and graduated from Princeton University in 1921. He wrote for numerous newspapers including the New York Herald, the New York Herald Tribune, and the New York Evening Post. He taught as a visiting professor at Bennington College, Smith College, and Swarthmore College in the 1930s. He earned a PhD from Columbia University. He became a professor and worked at the history department of Ohio State University from 1941 to 1955. He was also a member of the U.S. Cultural mission to Moscow in 1958. He was a Fullbright lecturer at the University of Tokyo from 1961 to 1962. He wrote numerous books about American and British relations with Asia in the late 19th to 20th centuries. He married Marion Richardson on August 7, 1926. He had four daughters, Mrs. John B. Waller, Mrs. Benjamin R. Weems, Mrs. Howard C. Taylor, and Lynn. His father was William Dulles. His brother was Allen Dulles. His cousin was Edith Dulles Snare.

    Samuel "Sam" Lee is a journalist, documentarian, and folk historian. He focuses on digitalizing African American history. He graduated from the Television Arts Production and Editing program in 1986 and attended the Center For Media from 1986 to 1987. From 2007 to 2010 he taught in the Englewood Public School District. He founded Encounters in Black Traditions, Inc. creating a center for the digitalized records of the history of African Americans. In 2008 he began working as a digital media specialist for the King of Kings Foundation, a youth development organization.
